About Us

Lisa Brunelle and Trudy Gusse are the designers and owners of Inner Journeys by Design and they are the co-creators of the Funky Fusion Craft Sale. They live in Edmonton, Alberta.

Together, Lisa and Trudy inspire each other to create vibrant jewellery reflecting their passion for the unusual. They continue to explore the craft of jewellery-making with new materials and techniques.
Everyday is an opportunity for women to wear something beautiful and affordable. Custom work is welcomed as it allows others to be part of having an extra special handmade piece made just for them or a loved one.

Lisa Brunelle
Lisa has always been interested in rocks and gemstones. Drawn to being creative and unique colourful things, she found her passion in making jewellery. While Lisa can’t imagine spending hours on a beaded project, she happily spends lots of time on intricate wirework pieces. She uses metals like silver and Swarovoski crystals and gemstones to bring in the sparkle she loves so much.

Trudy Gusse
Trudy grew up in a family where “handmade” meant “beautiful and made just for me”. Happily, the genetics of creativity were passed on from her mother and grandmother. It was really just a question of which crafty pursuit would snag Trudy’s attention for the long term. Making jewellery allows Trudy a creative outlet year round.
